Science
What’s In It? First nutritional filler formula:
- Unique 3-in-1 formula
- 15 mg (p/ml) semi-crosslinked hyaluronic acid (mix of BDDE cross-linked HA and non cross-linked HA). Hyaluronic is a natural ingredient found in the skin.
- Patent pending dermo-restructuring complex that consists of:
- 8 amino acids – glycine, lysine, threonine, proline, isoleucine, leucine, valine, and arginine
- 3 antioxidants – glutathione, N-acetyl-L-cysteine, and alphalipoic acid
- 2 minerals – zinc and copper
- 1 vitamin – vitamin B6
- Lidocaine hydrochloride (0.3%) to minimize discomfort during injections
The amino acids, vitamins, and mineral are necessary for restructuring and cell generation, and the antioxidants are used for cell protection while the hyaluronic acid replaces lost volume and improves skin hydration.
Redensity ll is a great product for filling out under-eye hollows. It can substantially enhance one’s appearance and, in most cases, provide beautiful, natural results.
Clinical trials show that Redensity ll results can last anywhere from 6 to 12 months. The treatment itself can take approximately 20 to 30 minutes to complete.
Procedure
You will begin with a consultation, facial analysis and evaluation of your medical history and personal expectations by our aesthetician practitioner.
Your medical practitioner will begin by applying topical anaesthetic to your face. Once the anaesthetic has taken effect, the practitioner will administer the product using a cannula technique and replenish your youthful appearance.
Result
In general, the amount of time dermal fillers last depend on the type of filler used, the location it is injected and how quickly your body breaks down the filler. Teosyal Redensity II is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler which lasts between 8-18 months. It breaks down gradually so it won't suddenly disappear.
Are there any risks or side effects?
Immediately after you may experience: Itching, redness, tenderness and swelling in the treated area. If present this can last 72 hours however swelling is highly variable and can last up to 2 weeks in certain individuals.
Bruising can develop at injection points. Usually minimal but variable, some individuals are more prone to bruising naturally and take longer for the bruise to heal. We do a thorough medical evaluation before hand to reduce the risk of this but also advice limiting alcohol intake for 48 hours pre and post procedure to aid recovery.
Cautions / contraindications
Dermal fillers are not suitable for anyone with severe allergies. You should not consider dermal fillers of any kind if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
