Glycolic peels have no recovery time and you will be able to resume your daily routine almost immediately; if you are interested in a deeper skin peel, stronger concentration of glycolic peels can be applied.
What is glycolic peel used for?
Can be used to exfoliate and replenish the skin, treat lines and wrinkles but also acne, acne scars, pigmentation and sun damaged skin. Different depths of glycolic peel are used to give different results.
What areas can a glycolic peel treat?
Most clients use a skin peel to improve the appearance of their facial skin, but we can also administer peels to your neck, chest, back and hands
What happens during a peel treatment?
The procedure involves applying a glycolic solution to the area in question. This solution exfoliates the skin and speeds up natural cell renewal; you will effectively be left with a new layer of skin, one which looks fresher and more youthful.*
Is the skin peel procedure painful?
No, although you may experience a hot, itchy sensation once the solution is on your skin. This is completely normal, and should subside quickly.
Will my skin actually peel off?
For deeper peels you may experiencing some peeling of the skin, this will normally take place 24 hours after the peel and last for 2-3 days, to reveal a new layer of skin.
